A Year of Blessings
2009 was a special year for Central District’s Women’s Ministries. Our meetings and regional’s were permanently marked in our lives because they witnessed several astounding miracles of healing. I would briefly like to re-tell some of these testimonies which impacted our District during these events. The majority of these testimonies were verified and documented, and some of their photographs are available.
In Denver, during Regional 3, one of our sisters was suffering with problems in her feet and was awaiting surgery but she was miraculously healed during the reunion. Others testified of diverse healings. In Grand Junction (Region 5) the Holy Spirit performed creative miracles by fixing damaged molars and healing cavities. Another sister testified that her backaches disappeared during prayer, while another confirmed the disappearance of several cysts.
In the city of Alamogordo, NM (Region 1) damaged molar fillings were fixed with a solid and shiny gold-like substance. Several people testified that while praying the prayer of faith their backs were healed of chronic pain. A sister from Salt Lake City, UT that was visiting Alamogordo during one of these regional events had been diagnosed with an incurable cancer that had afflicted her for several years. That night she felt the power of God healing her from such a horrible disease. When she returned home her doctor examined her and, perplexed, found the tissue damaged by chemotherapy had been completely healed and all traces of the disease had disappeared. Only God can still work creative miracles, Hallelujah!
In Albuquerque, NM, (Region 2) the gathering was overextended because the presence of the Holy Spirit fell so strongly that the people didn’t want to leave. In the state of Idaho, (Region 4) the Lord baptized a record number of people with the Holy Spirit. Many spoke in other tongues according to what the Lord gave them. Pastors recognized that their congregations were elevated to another spiritual level. They declared that the heavens over their regions were literally opened and the presence of God visited them. With tears in their eyes they received anointing even into their bones. In the state of Idaho the Holy Spirit baptized a historic number of women, and as they praised God and spoke in tongues, their pastors recognized and declared that their women had entered into a new spiritual level. God opened the windows of heaven and flooded every fiber of their beings with His presence.
The presence of the Holy Spirit has been evident in the English region and we know that God is doing great and astonishing works.

Beyond the shadow of a doubt the Lord will continue blessing our future events and the anointing will continue to increase. El 2009 fue un año especial para el ministerio de mujeres del Distrito Central. Las reuniones en los regionales fueron testigo de varios portentosos milagros de sanidad que marcaron nuestras vidas para siempre. Quisiera hacer un breve recuento a través de estos medios, de algunos de los testimonios que impactaron nuestro Distrito durante estos eventos. La mayoría de estos testimonios fueron verificados y documentados, y algunas fotos están disponibles.
En Denver, Regional 3 una hermana con problemas de sus pies y en espera de una operación, fue sanada milagrosamente durante una reunión regional. Otros testificaron de diversas sanidades. En la ciudad de Grand Junction, CO., Región 5 ocurrió un milagro creativo cuando el Espíritu Santo arregló caries en muelas dañadas. Otra hermana declaró que los dolores de su espalda desaparecieron durante la oración, mientras que otra confirmó la desaparición de varios quistes.
En la ciudad de Alamogordo, NM., Regional 1, Caries dañadas fueron retocadas por un material brillante y sólido como el oro. Varias personas confesaron que padecían de dolores continuos en sus espaldas y durante la oración de fe sus dolores desaparecieron instantáneamente. Una hermana de Salt Lake City, UT., que visitaba Alamogordo durante este regional y diagnosticada por su medico con un cáncer incurable de varios años, sintió que el poder de Dios la había sanado de tan terrible enfermedad. Cuando su médico la examinó al regresar a su ciudad encontró, ante su perplejidad, que los tejidos dañados por la quimioterapia habían sido recreados y los vestigios de la enfermedad, habían desaparecido. Solo Dios puede hacer milagros creativos todavía, aleluya!
En Albuquerque, NM., Región 2 la reunión se extendieron sobremanera porque la presencia del Espíritu Santo fue tan fuerte que el pueblo no se quiso ir. En el estado de Idaho, Región 4, el Señor bautizo tal cantidad de personas con el Espíritu Santo, que fue histórico. Cantidad de personas hablaron en otras lenguas según el Señor les daba que hablasen. Pastores reconocieron que sus congregaciones fueron elevadas a otro nivel espiritual. Declararon que los cielos sobre su región literalmente fueron abiertos y que la presencia de Dios los visitó. Con lágrimas en los ojos recibieron unción hasta los huesos.
Front Range English Region, was amazing full of the Holy Spirit. The presence of the Lord was so evident. We know that God is doing great and might things throughout this region.

Dr. Dan Sheaffer, the former pastor of Crossroads Cathedral (AG) in Oklahoma City, known for effectively raising millions for AG missions and AG higher education, passed away Thursday.

Fisherman back on feet, thanks to Convoy, MAPS
Jimmy Morgan, an oyster fisherman from Louisiana, had his house and boat destroyed by Katrina in 2005. Hundreds of church groups, MAPS teams, Convoy of Hope teams and volunteers headed to the region to help families like the Morgans get back on their feet.

Experts are predicting that India will become the most populous country in the world as soon as 2020 — the India Assemblies of God plans to have 25,000 new churches planted by the same date.

Dick Gruber honored for work by "Children's Ministry Magazine"
Dick Gruber, Valley Forge professor and former Children's Ministries consultant for the Assemblies of God, was recognized as one of the top 20 influencers in children's ministry in the September/October issue of Children's Ministry Magazine.

Three-time AG college president passes
Klaude Kendrick, who served as president of three different Assemblies of God institutions of higher education, passed away Saturday. He was 93.
